Job Responsibilities:
- Meet with patients to identify needs and set goals
- Devise and implement detailed treatment plans
- Educate, motivate, and encourage patients through the treatment process
- Monitor treatment effectiveness and collaborate with the patient's medical team
- Communicate changes in patient function and modify treatment goals as needed
- Oversee Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants (COTAs) and adjust plans of care
- Maintain patient confidentiality and comply with federal and state regulations
- Provide ongoing education to physicians, patients, family/caregivers, and interdisciplinary teams
- Document patient appointments and progress according to departmental and regulatory standards
- Evaluate shoulder, elbow, and hand injuries
- Exposure to Work Rehabilitation programs
Qualifications: Licensed Occupational Therapist (OT) in the state of Washington Strong Clinical Skills with Proficiency in Computer Skills ❤️ Compassionate and Patient-Centered Approach
