About the Role
We’re looking for a kind, capable part-time Veterinary Technician to join our close-knit team! Whether you’re experienced or still learning the ropes, if you’re passionate about animals and eager to grow, we’d love to meet you. Licensure is a bonus, but not a deal-breaker. Cross-training in other hospital areas is great but not required—we value team players who are curious and collaborative.
In this role, you’ll work side-by-side with our doctors to care for patients during exams, procedures, and surgeries. From drawing blood to prepping for dental cleanings, you’ll help ensure our hospital runs smoothly and our patients are comfortable, safe, and cared for.
What You’ll Be Doing
Assisting veterinarians with exams, treatments, and surgeries
Administering medications, vaccines, and treatments as directed
Performing blood draws, catheter placements, and basic lab work
Helping with dental cleanings, anesthesia monitoring, and recovery
Taking radiographs and keeping treatment areas clean and organized
Handling pets gently and confidently
Communicating clearly and kindly with pet parents and teammates
What We’re Looking For
Prior veterinary experience (preferred but not required)
Solid animal handling skills and a calm, compassionate approach
Good communication and multitasking abilities
Willingness to learn and support your teammates
A positive attitude and comfort in a fast-paced environment
Bonus Points For
Cross-training in front-desk duties or client communication
Experience in monitoring anesthesia or assisting in surgery
Familiarity with veterinary software systems
