Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned: Performs inspections of raw materials, materials in process, and finished products. Programs CMM’s and set metrology methods per best practices and/or customer requirements. Proficient in Calypso Programming Software. Continually improve and implement new programs and tools to develop and support our culture Identifies and develops process and equipment needed to produce specific products, parts, and components culture Manufacturing Support & Process Engineering Use the CMM to measure part dimensions Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular fiel Relies on limited experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of tasks. Works under general supervision; typically reports to a supervisor or manager. A certain degree of creativity and latitude is required. Participate in the development of the company’s strategic planning, vision, mission and values and desired culture Abide by and support all safety and quality system requirements Competencies

To perform the job successfully, an individual should demonstrate the following competencies: Use of Technology – utilizing metrology tools from handheld to CMM’s. Calypso software. Design – Blueprint reading, GD&T knowledge, demonstrates attention to detail. Teamwork – Ability to work in a team environment. Education and/or Experience Bachelor's degree and/or 2-4 years of experience in the field or in a related area Experience working in an AS9100 manufacturing environment. Language Skills Ability to read, analyze, and interpret customer and regulatory specifications. Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers, regulatory agencies, or members of the business community. Mathematical Skills Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference, and fundamentals of plane and solid geometry and trigonometry. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations. Reasoning Ability Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form. Computer Skills Proficient in all Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook) Experience with Calypso and programming a CMM Qualifications: Experience and Education: 4 – 5 years of relevant experience High school degree or equivalent, plus advanced training Technical Skills: Excellent attention to detail Working knowledge of customer specifications and requirements Basic computer skills Problem solving abilities Strong verbal and written communication skills Ability to use measuring equipment Ability to work both individually and in a team environment Understand and obey safety requirements Commitment to keep work area clean and free of debris Physical Requirements: Must be able to lift and/or move up to 50lbs Specific vision abilities include close and distance vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus Ability to use hands to finger, handle, or feel, as well as reach with hands and arms for extended periods of time Capable of standing for long periods Supervisory Responsibilities :
