Senior Software Engineer

Ft. Meade, Maryland
JOB DESCRIPTION:
The Software Engineer will be heavily involved with the creation, maintenance, and
running of Pig and or PySpark analytics and is responsible for reviewing data ingested
tickets and merge requests with other developers on the team.
Will focus on delivering reliable, accurate data to the end users as well as ensuring that
day-to-day operations are successful. Including being able to investigate data arriving
accurately into the system.
Required Qualifications:
Strong background in analytics development Pig PySpark
Desired Qualifications:
Python Java Scala NiFi Ansible
QUALIFICATIONS:
CERTIFICATION: IAT Level 2 certification
EDUCATION: Bachelors Degree (NOTE: Degree in computer science or IT computer engineering from an accredited college or university.)
EXPERIENCE:
Masters + 6 years Bachelors + 8 years Associates + 10 years No Degree + 12 years
