Salary Range: $249,997 - $299,996 Compensation can go above this range based on earned incentives in addition to the pay transparency standard language.

The salary of the finalist selected for this role will be set based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to departmental budgets, qualifications, experience, education, licenses, specialty, and training. The above hiring range represents the University's good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting.

Position Summary

The Department of Neurology in the Division of Child Neurology at the Columbia University Vagelos College of Physicians and Surgeons is seeking a new mid-career physician as Assistant Clinical Neurologist. This role reports to the Interim Chief of the Division of Child Neurology, currently Dr. Arthur Mandel, and the Chair of the Department of Neurology, Dr. Richard Mayeux. This position will involve working at a new, large multi-specialty medical practice in Westchester White Plains, adjacent to New York City.

In this role, you will participate in providing the highest level of care to patients in the Department of Neurology.

Responsibilities

Clinical responsibilities include:

Deliver exceptional, specialized patient care with consistently excellent outcomes.

Mentor junior colleagues, supporting their professional development and growth.

Contribute to departmental initiatives, including quality improvement and patient safety efforts.

Engage in continuing medical education (CME) and maintain relevant advanced certifications.

Serve as a trusted resource for complex cases and high-acuity patients.

Achieve and uphold high patient satisfaction scores.

Meet or surpass productivity targets.

Minimum Qualifications

Education:

Doctor of Medicine (MD) or equivalent

Certification:

Board-certified or board-eligible in Neurology

Licensure:

Eligible for a New York State Medical License

Training:

Fellowship training in the relevant subspecialty is required

0-5 years post training
