Key Responsibilities:
The Director of Clinical Resources will play a pivotal role in establishing and leading initiatives to drive clinical resource management and optimize supply expenses across hospital operations. This includes:
Developing and implementing strategies to reduce supply expenses per adjusted admission.
Focusing on margin improvements in high-cost departments such as surgical services, Cath lab, EP lab, and special procedures.
Identifying supply expense variances and formulating action plans to mitigate increases; participating in monthly operating reports.
Facilitating value analysis meetings and working collaboratively with physician-led groups.
Utilizing value analysis committees to evaluate products and technologies for clinical efficacy, compliance, and cost-effectiveness.
Building strong relationships with hospital leadership, clinical directors, physicians, and supply chain teams to enhance customer satisfaction.
Collaborating with facility leadership, physicians, and supply chain to implement continuous quality improvement and cost containment processes.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree required.
Experience in healthcare value analysis or clinical supply chain management is essential.
A Master’s degree is highly preferred.
Three to five years of leadership experience in value analysis, clinical, or hospital operations preferred.
Licensure as an LPN/RN or certifications such as CMRP or CVAHP are preferred.
