POSITION SUMMARY The F&B Manager is an essential member of the Food & Beverage team. We are currently seeking an enthusiastic and dynamic individual with experience in the private club industry. Our ideal candidate possesses a solid work ethic, the ability to thrive in a team environment, and the passion for excellent service. We are looking for a person who is passionate about food, beverage, and creating spectacular experiences for our members and their guests. In addition to maintaining our vision by adhering to our values, this position must be an example to the entire Front of House team of what excellent service looks like.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS DINING ROOM OPERATIONS: Lead pre-shift meetings to ensure that all necessary information is communicated to team in an effort to have smooth service. Check in with each table throughout service. Be visual to the membership and have on floor presence for the Front of House team. Assist servers and bussers with steps of service when needed. Work with host to create flow of seating members when possible. Assist in hiring process. Lead interviews, train new staff, process new hire paperwork. BANQUET OPERATIONS: Lead pre-shift meetings to ensure that all necessary information is communicated to team in an effort to have smooth service. Oversee execution of private events when needed. Work with host to ensure all details are correct with their event and work with FOH and BOH team for timing of service. Post event, work with team to set room correctly for the next event. Assist in the execution of Monday Golf Outings. Make sure course is set up properly according to BEO and assist in host needs throughout the day. BEVERAGE OPERATIONS: Knowledge of all beverages in order to make recommendations to members and their guests table side. Assist in the ordering of all beverages for all F&B outlets. Focus on running efficient inventories that align with COGs and sales numbers. Maintain up to date wine and cocktail lists. Sit in on tastings in an effort to change up menu options as well as plan for member functions such as wine dinners. Requirements:
POSITION QUALIFICATIONS 2-3 Years of Management experience in Clubs, Restaurants, or Hotels Ability to stand for long period of hours. Ability to carry 30-50lbs. Knowledge of Microsoft Office Programs Previous knowledge of JONAS or another Point of Sale System KEY COMPETENCIES Key competencies time management, listening, verbal acuity and basic math aptitude, problem solving, organized, integrity, honesty, reliability, customer service orientation, and attention to detail.
