As a Social & Marketing Coordinator for one of our Hello Sunshine brands, you’re immersed in Gen Z culture, trends, the creator and influencer space, emerging platforms, and how to match important brand ethos with social trends, industry best practices, community management, and content capture.
You work in tandem with other team members and social channel leads to brainstorm, map out brand priorities, and create content. You ideate content needs, assist with channel management, research trends (and relevant ways to join), community management, audience conversations, scheduling, and posting. You are extremely detail-oriented, reliable and pro-active, thinking critically about the channels, calendaring and community management. You provide real-time platform and audience insights to inform our social and marketing strategy. Additionally, you will support marketing development from press to identifying cultural insights to channel measurement to talent outreach and planning and development of marketing tentpoles. You will be expected to regularly surface and share innovative
ideas—from potential brand or talent partnerships, to creative press angles and audience-expanding activations. Your ability to identify and translate external inspiration into actionable strategies will play a key role in driving awareness, engagement, and long-term growth across our marketing efforts This is a hybrid role with high-impact learning opportunities. You create new content as well as repurpose historic assets to feel fresh on social and repackaged. You work in tandem with team members to ensure brand aesthetic, company goals, and priorities are met in a way that makes sense for the audience. You bring your amazing ideas to the table and share what’s working and what’s not working! We want to know—it’s how we all get better! You possess strong creator and editing skills,
including the ability to ideate, film, appear in and edit attention-grabbing TikToks.
You’re a source of innovation and creativity; and can stay on the pulse of social media trends and the competitive landscape. You listen closely to the audience to see what they’re saying or asking for—this will be important to create new social and digital/ online stories. Responsibilities Be part of the marketing and social strategy conversation; contribute to content creation, platform management, scheduling, posting, identify and execute on cultural trends and community management for brand social channels Manage tactical PR requests and approvals internally Analyze first and third party data to uncover insights and trends, translating them into clear, actionable storytelling that informs strategy and content Identify cultural and audience trends to inform campaign planning and develop marketing tentpoles Monitor and analyze social performance data to uncover insights and inform creative and strategic decisions Manage content calendars and help with day-to-day scheduling, publishing, and coordination Facilitate external talent conversations and deliverables, as necessary Track marketing channel measures and identify key areas of growth Support the marketing leadership team with insights, cross channel planning and tactical execution Manages marketing assets and ensures messaging is consistent across channels Collaborate with social leads to produce and execute supporting content for projects and company priorities Work with social and marketing team on reporting and analytics. Hands-on content creation: Use your filming, video editing and content creation skills to produce elevated content with relevant apps and tools Community management and building across all social media channels. An innate understanding of social media trends, strategy, data, and conversations Understanding audience sentiment to create content that shapes the culture and drives reach and engagement Understand and serve as the voice of the channel/ brand to deliver an authentic, audience-centric content experience Requirements 3 years of experience in social media, content creation, or digital marketing. Strong understanding of Gen Z trends, creator economy, pop-culture, and influencer space. Hands-on experience with TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, and emerging social platforms. Skilled in content ideation, content creation, video editing, and graphic design tools (e.g., Canva, Adobe Suite, CapCut). Experience with social media scheduling tools (e.g., Sprout, Later, Hootsuite). Strong writing and communication skills for community engagement. Strong attention to detail and follow-through Ability to craft compelling, platform-native copy across social and marketing materials Ability to analyze social insights and translate them into actionable strategies. Adaptability in a fast-paced, hybrid work environment with high-impact learning opportunities.
