As a Skilled Tradesman, you provide a variety of restoration and disaster recovery services when sub-contractors aren't an option, ensuring quality workmanship on projects for First Onsite clients. You assist with administrative tasks such as daily field reports, crew sheets, and tracking expenses for projects, but you also provide the physical labor to get things done - from painting to installing, taping, and texturing drywall to installing both interior and exterior finishes. You are the muscle for building, construction, and demolition sites and may even participate in mitigation activities, such as water extraction, mold remediation, emergency board-ups, or tarping roofs. Whether loading/unloading materials, machinery, and tools or cleaning and preparing, you maintain safety at all times and adhere to Environmental, Health, and Safety protocols. You don't hesitate to help the team wherever and whenever you're needed as you are willing to travel and are available for emergency/after-hours/weekend calls. You are providing a positive experience to clients during their time of need, and your hard work provides reassurance that First Onsite is the only restoration partner they'll ever need. Responsibilities: May participate in mitigation activities, including water extraction, fire, mold remediation, light demolition, tarping roofs, emergency board-ups, and setting/monitoring equipment Vehicle maintenance cleaned, stocked, and ready for response Maintain all Environmental, Health, and Safety protocols Assist with crew sheets, room specifics, pictures, and daily field reports Assist with tracking expenses and time for each project Communicate project needs to supervisor and/or leadership Assist in the completion of work orders for the daily work performed, including other necessary documentation Perform tasks involving physical labor at building and construction projects, and demolition sites Flexible to assist the team when needed on multiple service lines Load and unload building materials, machinery, and tools Clean and prepare a safe job site Must be able to work overtime, on weekends, and be able to respond 24/7 Required to have a basic set of tools Basic construction skill set includes but is not limited to painting, installation of drywall, drywall patching, texture, and installation of interior finishes such as trim Vertical-specific job requirements may also include government contract requirements and state-specific certifications as required (i.e., MWC) May attend disaster sites and be near hazardous environments and conditions.
