Senior Transportation Project Manager – San Luis Obispo, CA

Expertise in Transportation Engineering
– Extensive experience in all aspects of roadway engineering, including roundabout design, interchange design, and active transportation projects. Project Leadership
– Over five years of proven project management experience, leading schedules, budgets, scopes of work, and contract negotiations. Public Works Design
– Minimum of 10 years in public works transportation design (or 14 years equivalent experience), with a strong understanding of Caltrans District 5 processes preferred. Client & Agency Relations
– Ability to interact productively with clients and public agencies, fostering long-term relationships and delivering high-quality service. Team Management
– Supervising engineering design teams, mentoring staff, and ensuring quality deliverables. Business Development
– Proven ability to identify opportunities and grow business in transportation design; Central Coast local experience is highly valued.
Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering (BSCE) required. California Professional Civil Engineer (PE) license. Strong technical expertise in roadway, roundabout, and interchange design. Familiarity with Caltrans standards and procedures is a plus.
