Position Summary:

We are hiring experienced Concrete Form-Setters and Finishers to join our growing construction team. These are hands-on field positions requiring skill, attention to detail, and a strong work ethic. Successful candidates will help construct sidewalks, curbs, driveways, headwalls, box culverts, and other concrete structures. We are looking for individuals who take pride in their work and can contribute to a safe, productive job site. Key Responsibilities: Form-Setters: · Read and/or follow layout marks, grades, and blueprints to install forms for curbs, sidewalks, slabs, and structural concrete. · Build and set wood or metal forms for flatwork, structural, or specialty concrete elements. · Set form alignments and elevations using levels, string lines, or lasers. · Secure forms with stakes, ties, or clamps per project specifications. · Install embedded items such as anchor bolts or rebar as required. Finishers: · Place, screed, float, and finish concrete using hand tools and power tools. · Apply broom, trowel, or stamped finishes depending on the design requirement. · Edge and joint concrete surfaces for clean lines and proper expansion. · Monitor setting process and apply cure agents or sealers as required. · Repair imperfections or finish inconsistencies before final inspection. General Responsibilities: · Maintain a clean and safe job site at all times. · Follow all company safety protocols and wear proper PPE. · Work closely with crew members, foremen, and inspectors. · Load, unload, and handle materials and tools with care. · Operate small equipment such as saws, vibrators, or walk-behind trowels. · Follow schedule demands and adapt to changing job site conditions. Qualifications: · 2+ years of concrete experience in form-setting and/or finishing (commercial or civil preferred). · Familiar with hand tools, power tools, levels, and finishing equipment. · Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in outdoor conditions year-round. · Reliable transportation and ability to report to various job sites. · Punctual, dependable, and willing to work overtime or weekends, when needed. · Strong work ethic and ability to take direction. Preferred Traits: · Ability to read and interpret construction drawings. · Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus. · Experience with civil concrete work is a bonus. · Team player with a positive attitude and respect for coworkers and leadership.
