Plant Manager

to direct the manufacturing facility. This role is responsible for overseeing daily operations, ensuring compliance with safety standards, and driving continuous improvement across all departments. Responsibilities: Oversee plant operations to ensure production meets quality, safety, and customer standards. Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) to drive performance and accountability. Manage inventory, staffing, and scheduling to optimize efficiency and minimize costs. Ensure compliance with GMP, HACCP, and SQF standards; maintain a clean, inspection-ready facility. Lead Lean Manufacturing initiatives and support process improvement efforts. Coordinate capital equipment recommendations, process changes, and facility upgrades. Maintain accurate documentation and ensure adherence to customer specifications and packaging standards. Support hiring, training, and performance evaluations to build a strong, capable workforce. Leadership & Skills: Proven ability to lead and motivate teams toward continuous improvement. Strong communication, problem-solving, and conflict resolution skills. Experience developing training programs for exempt and non-exempt staff. Ability to foster a collaborative, team-oriented culture focused on shared goals. Skilled in using data and investigation to support decision-making. Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel; Lean certification preferred. Knowledge of Kaizen, inventory management, scheduling, and budgeting. HACCP and SQF certification preferred. Demonstrates safety-first leadership and commitment to regulatory compliance. Education & Industry Knowledge: 10+ years of production leadership experience, including at least 2 years in plant management. Experience with blow molding or injection molding is required. Associate or Bachelor degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
