Travel **Job Description: Registered Interventional Cath Lab Tech**
**Position:** Registered Interventional Cath Lab Technician **Shift:** Day 4x8-Hour (07:00 AM - 03:30 PM) **Schedule:** 32 hours per week, with Tuesdays off **Location:** Various campuses including Galion, Ontario, and Bucyrus, Ohio
**Overview:** We are seeking a dedicated Registered Interventional Cath Lab Technician to join our dynamic team. This role is essential in assisting with diagnostic and interventional cardiovascular procedures while ensuring the highest level of patient care.
**Key Responsibilities:** - Assist in a variety of cardiovascular procedures under the guidance of credentialed invasive radiologists, cardiologists, or cardiothoracic surgeons. - Perform emergency procedures associated with cardiovascular treatments, such as Intra-Aortic Balloon Pump insertions, Impella, and temporary pacemaker insertions. - Participate in patient and family education while acting as a patient advocate. - Ensure compliance with all quality initiatives and NCDR registry reporting requirements for Cath Labs. - Maintain and manage equipment and inventory effectively. - Participate in "on-call" duties on a rotating basis and respond promptly to work site notifications within 30 minutes.
**Qualifications:** - Current Licensure as a Registered Radiologic Technologist in the State of Ohio. - BLS and ACLS certifications are required. - Preferred candidates will have previous experience in a Cardiovascular Catheterization Lab, and familiarity with GE MAC Lab and GE Innova equipment. - Experience in interventional cardiac and/or vascular procedures is highly preferred. - Must be capable of floating to all three campus locations as needed. - Required to have at least 2 years of recent/continuous experience in a similar setting.
**Work Environment:** - Be part of a smoke-free facility. - Expect interdisciplinary support and engagement in diverse patient diagnostics and special procedures.
**Additional Information:** - This role includes participation in call rotations, 1-2 days per week, and every third weekend. - Must possess the ability to float to all campuses as needed and will be supported in a collaborative and nurturing healthcare environment.
