**Job Description:**
We are currently seeking a dedicated and skilled Diagnostic Medical Sonographer to join our healthcare team. As a vital member of our clinical staff, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality imaging services to patients.
**Key Responsibilities:** - Perform diagnostic ultrasound examinations to assist physicians in making clinical decisions. - Utilize advanced technology to capture and analyze ultrasound images of various anatomical structures, including abdominal, obstetric/gynecological, and vascular systems. - Ensure adherence to safety protocols and quality standards in imaging. - Collaborate with the healthcare team to discuss patient care plans and imaging results. - Maintain accurate patient records and charting using the Meditech Expanse system.
**Qualifications:** 1. Completion of a C.A.H.E.P. accredited training program in Diagnostic Medical Sonography. 2. ARRT certification in Radiology. 3. Registered by the ARDMS or ARRT with certification in at least one specialty (Abdominal, Obstetric/Gynecological, Pediatric Sonography, or Registered Vascular Technologist). 4. A minimum of general experience in OB, vascular, and breast imaging. 5. Current BLS certification. 6. Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT) certification required; ARRT preferred.
**Contract Details:** - Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week - Contract Length: 91 weeks - Cancellation Policy: 2 shifts per 13-week contract
