Insurance Coverage Attorney

Kennedys, a Legal 500 and Chambers-ranked global law firm serving domestic and international insurers is seeking motivated and experienced attorneys to join its insurance coverage practice in New York City. The position involves providing coverage advice and litigating issues under casualty and specialty lines of business (including commercial general liability, excess/umbrella, miscellaneous professional liability, intellectual property, commercial property and builders risk). Candidates should have excellent writing skills and a strong litigation background, with experience analyzing coverage issues, drafting coverage opinions, preparing dispositive motions, and conducting discovery in insurance coverage litigation. The ideal candidate also will have taken and defended depositions, attended court conferences, and argued motions. Competitive salary, annual performance-based raises, discretionary bonus, and benefits package offered. 1920 hour requirement. Will consider hybrid work arrangements. Attorney compensation ranges from $125,000 to $220,000 annually. Salary is contingent upon level of experience, practice group, location and other job-related factors permitted by law.
