About the Role
The Company is seeking a Chief People Officer (CPO) to join their team. The CPO will be a key leader in assessing and addressing organizational and employee needs, with a focus on designing and managing effective HR programs that support a collaborative, learning culture. This role requires a strategic partner who can balance the demands of the organization with the development and well-being of its staff. The CPO will be responsible for HR leadership, talent management, and HR operations, and must bring a deep knowledge of HR best practices, as well as a commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion.
Candidates for the CPO position at the company should have significant HR management experience, ideally with a background in supporting multi-generational, knowledge-based teams. The role demands a leader with a consultative approach, strong relationship-building skills, and a proven track record in coaching and managing HR teams. The CPO will also be involved in supporting the Board's Compensation Committee, so experience in this area is a plus. A Bachelor's degree in a related field is required, with a Master's degree preferred, and HR certifications such as SHRM-SCP or SPHR are also desirable. The successful candidate will be a thoughtful and authentic leader, with the ability to make data-driven decisions and a passion for continuous improvement.
