Assembler Tech 1st Shift

Assembly Technician
Hours: Monday - Friday (1st, 2nd, 3rd shift)
Pay Rate: $20.44/hr
Location: Urbana, Ohio 43078
Experience: at least six months of experience

Responsibilities :

• Load components into boxes on the conveyor belt
• Set up line clearance
• Work at a workstation for long periods and perform repetitive tasks
• Minimum of 6 months of recent experience in a production/assembly environment
• Able to meet assembly daily quotas/goals
• Manual dexterity and efficiency in a high-volume environment
• Able to accomplish repetitive tasks as needed
• Read, learn and interpret blueprints and work instructions and other instructions, both written and verbal, to complete assembly of products or components according to the established guidelines and quality standards
• Other duties as assigned.

Physical Requirements :

• Stand, walk, bend, twist, and reach frequently throughout the work shift.
• Have the ability to lift 25 - 50 pounds to waist level and up to 25 pounds above the shoulders.

Safety Requirements :
Wear safety-toed footwear, safety glasses with side shields, hearing protection, and additional personal protective equipment where required.
Knowledge & Experience :
Have a high school diploma or GED. Assembly experience preferred.
Work Environment :
Warehouse and manufacturing areas, exposure to hot and cold temperatures, and dust.
