Certified Nurse Midwife Opportunity Mercyhealth, an award-winning fully integrated health care delivery organization based in Wisconsin and Illinois, is seeking an experienced Midwife to join our Womens Health team at our Mulford Clinic in Rockford, IL. Touching lives invigorates, inspires and drives us to do our very best, and we continuously look for ways to make each life better with the utmost care and professionalism Opportunity: Provide patient care and education to an assigned caseload of obstetrical and gynecological patients in accordance with established midwifery practice guidelines Educate midwifery, medical and nursing students, and nursing and resident staff in normal childbirth. Collaborate with an experienced OBGYN physician and another GYN physician Hours: M-F, 8a-5p and shared call Position will include both clinic and assisting with deliveries at the hospital, including c-sections in the OR Office in clinic 2 days a week 8am- 5pm, Hospital 2 24 hour call days that can be done from home Qualifications: Graduate of an accredited Midwifery Program Current IL RN license Current IL APRN license Current DEA number Other certifications as required Previous Midwife experience preferred Compensation: Highly competitive compensation Sign-on bonus CME allowance Robust and comprehensive benefit package Mercyhealth Mercyhealth is a vertically integrated health care system in southern Wisconsin and northern Illinois with approximately 800 physicians, 8,000 employees, 7 hospitals, 80 ambulatory locations; pharmacies, DME, Home Health, and an insurance company.
