Wellness Incentives for full & part-time employee to reduce cost of insurance premium by $33.93 (and $11.30 for spouse, if applicable) Onsite children's care centers (Infant through Pre-K) at various locations Deaconess RN on Call is available for employees 24/7/365 to speak to an RN Automatic enrollment in a 401K plan at 3% pre-tax contribution with an outstanding employer matching program Competitive pay, shift and weekend incentives, yearly opportunities for pay increases and bonuses Career advancement opportunities Job Summary The Nurse Practitioner obtains patient history and conducts physical exams; utilizes the GE ViewPoint computer system; identifies and addresses patient and family teaching needs; provides diabetic education; knowledgeable of high-risk pregnancy conditions and insurance requirements; develops plan of care by collaborating with the physician and other team members; makes appropriate referrals; performs postpartum exams; serves as a resource for staff and the hospital; and manages individualized, goal-directed nursing care through the use of the nursing process and the principles of primary nursing in accordance with departmental and hospital policies and procedures. Education and Experience Must be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing with a Master of Science in Nursing Degree-CNM, NP or CNS. Two years' experience in the practice area is preferred. Certificates/Licenses Must maintain a current Indiana RN license or is eligible; maintain the Advanced Practice Nurse certification; and maintain current BLS certification. Kentucky and Illinois RN license preferred. The RN will adhere to the American Nurses Association Bill of Rights by establishing and maintaining workplace expectations and environments, which support sound professional nursing practice.
