Responsibilities CHI St. Vincent is seeking a skilled and compassionate PRN Cardiology Nurse Practitioner to join our cardiology team at the CHI St. Vincent Heart Clinic Arkansas - Cardiology and Medicine Clinic in Little Rock. About the Role: As a PRN Cardiology Nurse Practitioner, you will provide essential support to our cardiology team, focusing on pre- and post-procedure patient care. Your responsibilities will include: Monitoring patient care post catheterization and angioplasty: Assessing patient status, managing complications, and ensuring a smooth recovery. Discharge planning: Coordinating discharge instructions, medications, and follow-up appointments. Preparing patients for procedures: Educating patients about the procedure, answering questions, and addressing concerns. Monitoring care plans: Ensuring adherence to established protocols and collaborating with the cardiology team to adjust plans as needed. Patient education: Providing comprehensive education to patients and their families regarding their heart condition, treatment options, and lifestyle modifications. Assisting with other cardiology-related tasks as needed. Qualifications Qualifications: Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program. Current and valid Arkansas APRN license (or eligible to obtain). DEA license (or eligible to obtain). Experience in cardiology preferred, but not required. Strong clinical skills and knowledge of cardiovascular disease. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Pay Range $46.30 - $63.67 /hour
