Travel Nurse Job Details Estimated Weekly Salary: $2240-$2400 Assignment Length: 19 weeks (September 8, 2025 - January 17, 2026) Healthcare Setting: Birth Center (20 beds: 12 Labor & Delivery, 8 postpartum/antepartum, 3 OB/ED rooms, 2 ORs, 6-bed Level II NICU) Nursing Shift: 12-hour nights Hours per Week: 36 guaranteed Weekend Rotation: Every other weekend Scrubs: Teal scrubs provided Electronic Medical Record: EPIC First-time travel nurses welcome! Registered Nurse Qualifications Active Registered Nurse (RN) license Minimum 2 years of Labor & Delivery nursing experience, including at least 1 year in LDRP Required certifications: BLS, NRP, and fetal monitoring Proficient L&D clinical skills: cervical exams, antepartum and labor care, amnio infusions, epidurals, fetal monitoring, IVs, Pitocin administration Postpartum nursing experience: confident in all aspects of postpartum care from transition to discharge for both mother and baby Ability to circulate C-sections (required); scrub experience preferred Experience with baby catching/receiving (required), APGAR scoring, and breastfeeding support Multilingual skills (Russian/Spanish) are a plus Labor & Delivery Nurse Responsibilities Deliver comprehensive care to laboring mothers and newborns in a busy birth center Perform cervical exams, manage antepartum and laboring patients, and assist with amnio infusions and epidurals Monitor fetal well-being and administer medications such as Pitocin Provide exceptional postpartum care, supporting mothers and babies through transition and discharge Circulate during C-sections and assist with baby catching/receiving Support breastfeeding and provide patient education Collaborate with a multidisciplinary healthcare team to ensure safe, high-quality patient outcomes Apply now to join our healthcare team and take the next step in your nursing career with this Auburn, Washington travel nurse opportunity!
