Travel RN - Surgical ICU

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Surgical ICU (SICU) night shift position with a NY license and Epic EMR experience required.Job Details•Work in a Surgical ICU (SICU) with 16 beds,•Patient population includes sepsis, ARDS, renal failure, heart failure, pre-VAD workups, alcohol withdrawal, overdose, multi-organ failure, post-cardiac arrest, targeted temperature management, respiratory failure, shock, CRRT, EKOS, IABP, ECMO, and Impella,•Nurse to patient ratio is typically 1:2, with occasional 1:1 assignments based on acuity,•Night shift schedule of three 12-hour shifts per week (19:00-07:30),•Weekend work required every other weekend,•Use of Epic EMR is required,•Floating to other units is required,Job Requirements•Active NY RN license in hand is required for consideration,•Minimum of 1 year recent ICU experience,•Experience with Epic EMR is required,•Must reside more than 75 miles from the facility,•First time travelers are welcome to apply,Additional Information•Care for critically ill patients with a variety of conditions including advanced cardiac and respiratory support,•Candidates may be assigned 1:1 patient care for high acuity cases,•Team-based work environment with support from experienced colleagues,•Pre-assignment modules must be completed prior to start,•Return staff must have a one-year gap before returning,•All requested time off must be discussed and approved prior to assignment,•Holiday coverage may be required based on the schedule,),•hash,:•17009501343073963590,
