Travel RN - Med/Surg Tele

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Med Surg/Tele position on a night shift with strong neuro and cardiac skills required.Job Details•Work in a 24-bed Med Surg/Tele unit within an acute care hospital setting,•All beds are telemetry capable, but travelers do not care for pediatric patients,•Night shift, 12-hour shifts, with a typical schedule of 36 hours per week,•Nurse-to-patient ratios are 1:5 during days and 1:6 at night, adjusted by patient acuity,•Floating required to all Med Surg units and ICU for taking Med Surg overflow patients,•Uses Allscripts Sunrise EMR system,•Support staff includes Tele techs, charge nurses, HUCs, and PCTs,•Requires wearing scrubs of any color except all black, scrubs are not provided,Job Requirements•Active RN license required for consideration,•Minimum of 2 years of Med Surg/Tele experience with strong neuro and cardiac skills,•Current AHA BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required,•PALS certification is preferred,•Experience with Allscripts Sunrise EMR is preferred,Additional Information•Trauma Level 3 environment with 24/7 hospitalist, respiratory therapy, and pharmacy support,•Travelers do not take pediatric assignments; those are assigned to permanent staff,•No IV team available on the unit,•Nurse managers perform rounding but do not provide direct patient care,•Holiday coverage may be required,•First-time travelers are accepted,),•hash,:•3943089030348673949,
