As a Service Porter, you'll play a vital role in supporting our dealership's daily operations. Your primary responsibilities will include maintaining vehicle inventory, ensuring the lot is orderly, and providing exceptional service to both customers and team members. You'll help create a positive first impression and a seamless experience for everyone who visits our dealership.
Key Responsibilities
- Physical Inspections: Conduct scheduled inspections to verify vehicle condition, cleanliness, and placement.
- Discrepancy Resolution: Identify and resolve any inconsistencies in inventory records to maintain operational integrity.
- Lot Maintenance & Safety: Keep the parking lot clean, safe, and free from hazards such as snow and debris; maintain compliance with safety standards.
- Vehicle Care: Clean and detail vehicles, replenish fluids, and perform minor maintenance tasks to keep inventory in top condition.
- Vehicle Transport: Move vehicles between service lanes, car was, parking lots, and departments as needed, following dealership display standards.
- Customer Service: Assist customers and colleagues with vehicle needs.
- Shop Cleanliness: clean floors and bay areas
- Additional Duties: Perform other tasks as assigned by management to support dealership operations.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Proficient computer skills for inventory management.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Effective communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to lift up to 30 pounds and perform physical tasks associated with vehicle and lot maintenance.
- Must pass a background check.
