Job Title: Senior Assembly Technician (Aerospace/Manufacturing)


Position Overview: We are looking for an experienced Senior Assembly Technician to join our team. This role involves assembling aerospace and electrical components by following work instructions and engineering drawings, as well as troubleshooting and performing ATP’s. The ideal candidate will be skilled in multifaceted assembly, soldering, wire crimping, and other manufacturing techniques, and will be able to perform quality checks and testing to ensure high industry standards.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Assemble complex aerospace and electrical components using written work instructions and technical drawings.
  • Troubleshoot assemblies and work with engineering to find root cause
  • Interpret engineering drawings and electrical schematics to ensure accurate assembly.
  • Use standard tools (e.g., calipers, torque wrenches, volt/ohm meters) to check quality.
  • Inspect and test assemblies to ensure they meet quality standards.
  • Perform tasks like trimming, cutting, drilling, and deburring materials (plastic, composite, aluminum, stainless steel) with power tools.
  • Accurately document testing, inspections, and other required activities.


Skills & Qualifications:

  • Must be a US Citizen with the ability to read, write, and communicate in English.
  • Strong attention to detail and dedication to producing high-quality work.
  • Ability to work independently, meet deadlines, and follow instructions
  • Skilled in basic math and using measurement tools such as calipers and torque wrenches.
  • Experience using hand tools and machinery (e.g., band saw, drill press, sander, grinder, hydraulic press) safely.
  • Ability to identify product quality issues and suggest process improvements.
  • Previous experience in aerospace, automotive, or component assembly is preferred.
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 40 pounds.


Additional Information:

  • This is a non-exempt position, eligible for overtime pay (1.5x base hourly rate for hours worked over 40 per week), and reports directly to the Production Manager
  • Regular performance reviews with opportunities for merit-based raises and bonuses.
  • Weekend work may be required as needed.
