Job Description:
We are seeking a highly experienced Manhattan SCALE and Active WMS Consultant for an onsite contract opportunity in Dallas, TX. This role will support both legacy Manhattan SCALE WMS and modern Manhattan Active Warehouse Management (MAWM) systems. The ideal candidate will provide technical and functional consulting support across multiple warehouse operations, integrating with ERP, TMS, and automation platforms.
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related discipline
12+ years of experience in supply chain systems, including WMS, inventory, and logistics
10+ years of hands-on experience with Manhattan SCALE WMS
23 years of experience or working knowledge of Manhattan Active WM (cloud-native platform)
Strong background in warehouse design, wave planning, receiving, picking, packing, and shipping
SQL development and database administration (Oracle, SQL Server, DB2)
Experience with WMS integrations to ERP, TMS, LMS, and MHE systems
Familiarity with REST APIs, XML, and integration middleware
Responsibilities:
Act as the primary SME and consultant for Manhattan SCALE and Manhattan Active WMS
Lead end-to-end WMS enhancement cycles including design, testing, deployment, and hypercare
Conduct gap analysis between SCALE and Active WM capabilities for system migration or coexistence
Troubleshoot production issues across SCALE and Active environments; perform RCA and implement permanent fixes
Coordinate integration testing with ERP, TMS, and automation vendors
Analyze business requirements and convert them into scalable, repeatable WMS configurations
Design and validate interface workflows using REST APIs, XML, and real-time messaging
Train and support warehouse operations teams during WMS cutovers and system updates
Document solution architecture, configuration changes, and user-facing SOPs
Provide strategic input on system roadmap and continuous improvement initiatives
Preferred Skills:
Experience with MOCA, SCI, and App Studio in Manhattan Active environments
Familiarity with cloud deployment models and real-time WMS integrations
Exposure to MHE automation, RF handheld integration, and label print/apply systems
Excellent communication and cross-functional leadership skills
Ability to work independently in fast-paced, high-volume distribution environments
