A large and well-established company in Fayetteville, AR is seeking an experienced shipping clerk to join their team! The best person for the position will have prior experience in a warehouse setting and/or managing shipping duties. This is a full-time position and regular attendance is crucial.

Responsibilities for the position include:
- Manages the shipment of all products, materials, and supplies.
- Collaborates and communicates with logistics, sales, production, customer service, service providers, and others involved in the shipment of products.
- Tracks, traces, and updates the status of outgoing shipments.
- Release, breakdown, and manage customer orders.
- Maintains an accurate log sheet of daily moves and completed Sign-In sheets.
- Work with the Shipping Supervisor to stage and schedule orders.
- Provides additional backup support for shipping and receiving departments.
Shipping Clerks Qualifications/Skills:
- Accurately manage customer orders to specifications.
- Computer skills in Excel, websites, and programs
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Strong sense of time organization and urgency
- Able to work independently and within a team
Education, Experience, and Licensing Requirements:
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent
- Shipping experience in order processing and Bill of Ladings is preferred.
- Forklift Certification within 90 days of start date.
- Familiarity with International shipping documents is preferred
- Knowledge of EDI is preferred
