A large and well-established company in Fayetteville, AR is seeking an experienced shipping clerk to join their team! The best person for the position will have prior experience in a warehouse setting and/or managing shipping duties. This is a full-time position and regular attendance is crucial.

Responsibilities for the position include:

  • Manages the shipment of all products, materials, and supplies.
  • Collaborates and communicates with logistics, sales, production, customer service, service providers, and others involved in the shipment of products.
  • Tracks, traces, and updates the status of outgoing shipments.
  • Release, breakdown, and manage customer orders.
  • Maintains an accurate log sheet of daily moves and completed Sign-In sheets.
  • Work with the Shipping Supervisor to stage and schedule orders.
  • Provides additional backup support for shipping and receiving departments.

Shipping Clerks Qualifications/Skills:

  • Accurately manage customer orders to specifications.
  • Computer skills in Excel, websites, and programs
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong sense of time organization and urgency
  • Able to work independently and within a team

Education, Experience, and Licensing Requirements:

  • High school diploma, GED, or equivalent
  • Shipping experience in order processing and Bill of Ladings is preferred.
  • Forklift Certification within 90 days of start date.
  • Familiarity with International shipping documents is preferred
  • Knowledge of EDI is preferred
