Our client is seeking a Platform & DevOps Engineer to join their team. The successful candidate will work on cloud-based solutions and solve challenging problems for unique customers. This is a hybrid role with 3 days of onsite support in Tampa, FL.
Responsibilities
- Deploy and maintain critical applications on cloud-native architecture
- Implement secure automation, effective monitoring, and infrastructure as code
- Deploy and maintain CI/CD pipelines across multiple environments
- Support and work alongside a cross-functional engineering team on the latest technologies
- Iterate on best practices to increase the quality and velocity of deployments
- Implement industry best practices for system hardening and configuration management
Clearance
- Active TS/SCI
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, IT, or a relevant field
- 4+ years of relevant experience
- Ability to configure cloud services such as Amazon Web Services (AWS), Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
- Experience implementing CI/CD with tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or Concourse CI
- Experience with configuration management tools such as Ansible and Chef
- Previous experience with Platform-as-a-Service (PaaS) products such as Kubernetes, Red Hat OpenShift, and RKE2
- Demonstrated experience with security scanning tools such as SonarQube, OWASP-DC, Anchore, Claire, Dagda, and OpenSCAP
- Knowledge of the Risk Management Framework (RMF) and experience writing responses to security controls and deploying secure systems
- Comfortable in a project startup environment
Desired Qualifications
- Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, IT, or a relevant field
- Cloud certification in AWS, Azure, or GCP
- Experience supporting the DoD
