Recruitment and Onboarding:
Participate in recruiting efforts for part-time Warehouse Personnel and Surge by attending career fairs and events.
Assist in conducting onsite interviews for potential candidates.
Coordinate New Employee Orientation, including onboarding sessions, benefits enrollment, and paperwork collection.
Manage the annual benefits open enrollment process for the designated site.
Create and maintain personnel files for all part-time Warehouse Personnel and Surge staff.
Facilitate employee status changes and process separation forms for part-time personnel.
Policies, Compliance, and Communication:
Ensure thorough knowledge of Company policies and procedures, including background checks and drug screening.
Maintain employment postings and communicate with federal and state agencies as required.
Educate part-time personnel on benefits, policies, and company procedures.
Participate in employee morale activities and social functions.
Scheduling and Additional Responsibilities:
Coordinate monthly Surge scheduling and quarterly drills.
Arrange monthly birthday and anniversary celebrations, including card creation.
Assist with other duties as assigned.
Qualifications and Skills:
High School diploma or GED required; college degree preferred.
Strong communication, organizational, and time management skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and demonstrate attention to detail.
Technical Skills:
Proficiency with PAYCOR, MQ1, Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint).
Experience with HRIS systems and report generation.
Basic public speaking and presentation skills.
Familiarity with web-based communication tools and social media.
Additional Requirements:
Successful passing of background checks and drug screening.
Valid driver’s license for regional recruiting and events.
