Position Overview We are looking for an

Analytics Engineer

to take ownership of our business intelligence ecosystem, with an emphasis on delivering impactful solutions in

Power BI . This individual will design, manage, and refine a portfolio of interactive dashboards, compelling data visualizations, and actionable reports for diverse audiences, including business leaders and legal teams. A key initiative for this role will be overseeing the phased migration of

Tableau

and

Alteryx

assets into Power BI while ensuring that existing platforms remain effective throughout the transition.

Primary Duties & Responsibilities Build and enhance

Power BI

dashboards, reports, and visualizations that translate complex datasets into clear, meaningful insights. Oversee administration of the Power BI platform, including workspace setup, access management, security protocols, and performance governance. Collaborate closely with stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver scalable analytics solutions that support strategic decision-making. Lead the conversion of existing Tableau dashboards and Alteryx workflows into Power BI, ensuring functionality, performance, and usability. Maintain and fine-tune legacy Tableau and Alteryx solutions during the migration process. Advocate for and apply

best practices in data visualization , dashboard performance tuning, and user experience design. Develop training materials, documentation, and guidance to foster self-service analytics adoption. Work with data engineering and governance teams to uphold data quality, security, and compliance standards. Monitor emerging capabilities in Power BI,

Microsoft Fabric , and related technologies to drive innovation and platform improvement.

Required Qualifications

Advanced proficiency in

Power BI

(including DAX, Power Query, row-level security, and shared dataset management). Strong skills in data modeling, visualization design, and performance optimization for large-scale data environments. Hands-on experience with

Tableau

and

Alteryx , particularly in development and migration contexts. Solid background in

SQL

and working with relational databases or data lake environments. Familiarity with

Microsoft Fabric , Power Platform, Azure Synapse, or SQL Server integration patterns. Understanding of BI governance, metadata standards, and security/access control mechanisms. Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to translate technical concepts into business value. Minimum of five years of experience in business intelligence, analytics engineering, or data visualization roles. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Analytics, or a related discipline. Experience working within

professional services

or

legal industry

settings.

Preferred Attributes

Certification in Power BI or Microsoft Azure. Proven track record in driving BI adoption and enabling self-service analytics across an organization.
