Senior Software Engineer
The Alaka`ina Foundation Family of Companies (FOCs) is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to support our government customer in Dayton, OH.
Responsibilities :
Assist in developing a web application hosting a suite of predictive analytics.
Demonstrate knowledge through actual coding.
Develop web applications independently.
Visualize data effectively.
Visualize hierarchical data structures.
Complete HIPAA training upon start of work.
Maintain HIPAA standards and prevent data leaks.
Required Education :
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, with a minimum of five (5) years' experience in Python and three (3) years in JavaScript.
Required Skills and Experience :
Experience with Scrum process.
Experience with Git source control.
Experience with UNIX systems.
Basic networking knowledge (OSI model layers 3 & 4).
Willing to sign a Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA).
Highly Desired Skills and Experience :
Experience collaborating with data scientists on dashboard development for AI interaction.
Experience with Flask in Python.
Experience with SQLAlchemy ORM in Python.
Knowledge of HTML/CSS.
Experience in web application development.
Experience with JavaScript frameworks like React or Angular.
Knowledge of SQL and databases.
Required Citizenship and Clearance :
U.S. Citizen.
Pass Tier 1 background check (T1) / SF85 and eligible for a CAC card.
