For more information, visit SolomonEdwards Position Summary: We are seeking a Senior Corporate Planning and Development Analyst to join a leading U.S. financial services firm with national operations and specialized investment portfolios. This role will support long-term strategic initiatives, corporate portfolio administration, and equity investment analysis within a high-performing capital advisory group. This hybrid role (Monday–Friday 8:00 am – 5:00 pm) is based in Dallas, TX, with an onsite requirement of two days per week. Essential Duties: • Manage and administer 700–800 individual warrant positions, generating approximately $50 million in proceeds over several years. • Negotiate legal agreements for warrant transactions, coordinate with attorneys, assess risks and liabilities, and recommend courses of action to management. • Oversee and administer a diversified equity investment portfolio, including underwriting new investments, managing daily operations, and preparing detailed reports such as capital calls, distributions, financial tracking, valuations, Volcker Rule certifications, board reports, and quarterly regulatory filings. • Conduct ad hoc financial analyses, reporting, and research to evaluate the risks and returns of complex corporate scenarios. • Participate in audit and examination processes, ensuring the timely resolution of identified issues. • Identify, assess, and mitigate risks across corporate operations. Qualifications: • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. • Minimum 4 years of financial services experience with progressive financial analysis roles. • 3+ years of experience with Excel, including pivot tables and graphs. • 3+ years of financial modeling and investment analysis. • Preferred: 1 year of experience managing projects and working with legal documents. Skills and Job-Specific Competencies: • Advanced Excel and financial modeling proficiency. • Strong understanding of equity investments and corporate finance principles. • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. • Ability to collaborate across departments and lead small projects. • Strong analytical thinking and attention to detail. Travel Requirements: No travel will be required, unless at the client's discretion. Salary Range: SolomonEdwards values your unique and individual experience and background. As such, we take a comprehensive approach when determining compensation for our roles. The compensation for this specific role is based on a wide range of factors, including but not limited to education, licensure and certifications, location, experience, and training.
