The Business Team Recruiter, under the direction of the Senior Business Team Recruiting Manager, is responsible for achieving staffing objectives by sourcing, attracting, and hiring a diverse pool of candidates for both exempt and non-exempt business services positions. This role partners closely with hiring managers to assess departmental needs, develop targeted recruitment strategies, and manage full-cycle hiring for both permanent and temporary placements.

Responsibilities

Partner with hiring managers to assess staffing needs, define ideal candidate profiles, and develop tailored sourcing strategies through comprehensive intake meetings. Serve as the primary recruiting liaison for assigned Business Team departments, building strong relationships with internal clients. Ensure job descriptions, requisitions, and approvals are complete; collaborate with managers to create or update descriptions as needed. Partner with the Compensation team to confirm competitive salary ranges and maintain internal equity. Source candidates through multiple channels, including social media, association websites, targeted job boards, professional networks, and, when necessary, search firms. Manage vendor relationships and serve as the liaison with external recruiters. Directly source and evaluate active and passive candidates, reviewing resumes promptly and screening for qualifications and cultural fit. Present qualified candidates to hiring managers and coordinate the interview process, including scheduling, correspondence, and documentation. Maintain accurate records in the applicant tracking system and ensure compliance with recruitment policies and procedures. Partner with the HR Operations teams on background checks, education verification, and conflict checks, in accordance with firm policy. Extend offers in alignment with firm policies and with hiring manager approval. Provide consistent, professional communication with candidates and hiring managers to ensure a positive recruitment experience. Collaborate with Office Administrators and department leaders across U.S. offices on local recruitment needs. Participate in new hire orientation. Prepare and update recruitment reports and status updates for leadership. Represent the firm at recruitment events, career fairs, professional association meetings, to strengthen the firm’s employment brand and talent pipeline. Achieve key recruiting metrics, including time-to-fill, quality of hire, and hiring manager satisfaction. Contribute to the firm’s Responsible Business initiatives. Perform other duties and projects as assigned.

Qualifications

REQUIRED SKILLS

Proven ability to source and engage a diverse, qualified candidate pool using technology, networking, and direct outreach. Strong resume analysis and candidate assessment skills. Proficiency in effective interviewing techniques to gather relevant information. Strong judgment, decision-making, and negotiation abilities. Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills with a client service mindset. Ability to build and maintain relationships at all levels of the organization. High attention to detail, accuracy, and organizational skills. Ability to maintain confidentiality and work independently while meeting deadlines.

Education, Certifications And/Or Experience

Five (5) to + years of full cycle recruiting experience preferred, including management of multiple high volume roles simultaneously Experience using an applicant tracking system and other recruiting tools/applications (LinkedIn, Workday etc.) Experience recruiting for support/corporate functions such as IT, HR, finance, legal support, and marketing roles preferred Experience within a professional services environment preferred Recruiting agency experience a plus.

HOURS

Core business hours are Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. As an exempt, salaried professional, flexibility is expected to meet the demands of the role.

The annualized salary range for this position is $105,000 to $120,000 depending on the candidate's overall experience and other job-related factors permitted by law. Full time employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus. In addition, full time employees as well as some part time employees, will be eligible for the firm’s fringe benefits as they currently exists.

This position requires four in-office days per week, with one remote workday permitted. For recruiters, responsibilities may occasionally include meeting with candidates outside of standard business hours.
