Responsibilities :
Supervise, train, and motivate all jobsite field personnel, ensuring quality control, safe work practices, good housekeeping, appropriate use of tools, PPE, and equipment.
Provide proper documentation and direction to all personnel for correct and cost-effective task execution.
Coordinate and communicate with the general contractor’s field superintendent and other trades.
Attend jobsite meetings as required by the general contractor.
Work with the project manager to oversee and ensure completion of the scope of work per safety, schedule, and quality standards.
Communicate with the project manager and estimating team regarding job changes, change orders, and deviations from plans.
Interpret blueprints, electrical systems, wiring diagrams, and equipment specifications.
Manage jobsite materials, tools, and equipment.
Schedule and conduct inspections, testing, and owner training.
Install, maintain, modify, and repair electrical distribution systems and equipment.
Interpret and implement the National Electrical Code standards.
Ensure compliance with OSHA and safety requirements.
Utilize technology such as company-provided iPads and smartphones.
Manage daily logs, progress reports, and timesheets.
Requirements :
At least 8-10 years of electrical experience.
At least 2-4 years of experience leading large construction projects with a crew of 5+.
Ability to work 8 hours per day, 40 hours per week, with overtime as needed.
Ability to work in various weather conditions and physical environments, including climbing ladders, crawling, standing, and lifting objects over 50 pounds.
Ability to utilize construction site facilities and wear PPE at all times.
