We’re seeking experienced, high-energy recruiters to join our Handshake AI talent team and scale our professional domain expert network. You’ll be responsible for high-volume recruiting in law, medicine, finance, and other specialized fields, identifying and engaging fellows, contractors, and full-time experts to support our human data projects. This role moves fast, requires exceptional sourcing skill, and thrives on building candidate pipelines in hard-to-reach talent pools. Prior agency or executive search experience is strongly preferred. What You’ll Do
Own full-cycle recruitment for domain experts in law, medicine, finance, and other professional fields.
Source and engage passive talent through creative outreach, research, and market mapping.
Manage high-volume requisitions with speed and precision while maintaining a high bar for candidate quality.
Build and maintain strong relationships with candidates, driving engagement from first contact through close.
Partner with Operations and Growth teams to deeply understand role requirements and project timelines.
Track and report recruiting metrics, ensuring data integrity in Ashby and other tools.
What We’re Looking For
Experience:
3+ years of recruiting, with a preference for agency or search firm backgrounds in high-volume or hard-to-fill markets. We are open to people with staffing agency experience only.
Sourcing Expertise:
Proven success finding and engaging niche, high-caliber talent.
Industry Knowledge:
Comfort recruiting in specialized professional fields such as legal, medical, or financial.
Drive & Urgency:
Thrives in a fast-moving environment with shifting priorities and ambitious targets.
Communication:
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with an ability to build trust quickly.
Tools:
Experience using ATS platforms (Ashby a plus), LinkedIn Recruiter, and other sourcing tools.
