Job Purpose and Impact
The Senior Professional, Application Developer will help lead a small team responsible for building, maintaining, integrating, and implementing SAP’s S/4 Commercial and Customer Facing software applications to Cargill’s Protein and Salt businesses and Corporate Functions. With minimal supervision, this role performs complex software application design, testing, quality assurance, configuration, installation, and support to ensure smooth, stable, and timely implementation of new software and updates to existing applications. Essential Functions
SAP REQUIREMENTS SOLUTIONING:
Capture and analyze business requirements. Research and provide solution alternatives and implement the preferred recommendations. SAP APPLICATION CONFIGURATION MANAGEMENT:
Build complex application configurations to meet user and business requirements while identifying improvements to support processes and procedures. SAP APPLICATION DEPLOYMENT:
Perform advanced design, testing, and deployment of new development, updates, or fixes of application version releases. USER COMMUNICATION & SUPPORT:
Maintain open communication with users to respond to complex support requests, support User Acceptance Testing, and train Super Users. APPLICATION SUPPORT:
Conduct technical support activities to deliver on business outcomes. STAKEHOLDER MANAGEMENT:
Partner with multi-functional teams to ensure solutions align with standards and project goals. WORKSTREAM LEADERSHIP:
Represent the Commercial workstream, plan staffing and budgets, and mentor team members. Minimum and Typical Experience
Minimum of 4 years of relevant work experience, typically 5 or more years. Preferred Work Experience
Experience in multiple SAP S/4 Commercial applications such as Sales Order Management, Trade Promotion Management, Contract Management, Pricing, Credit Management, Billing, and Invoicing. Experience with integrations between SAP and external applications. Stakeholder management and experience influencing executive leaders. Experience working on global ERP projects, strategic initiatives, and change management. Experience with SAP Sales Cloud, Salesforce, CRM applications, e-Commerce, or Financial Supply Chain Management. Information for Minnesota Based Applicants
Minnesota Sick and Safe Leave accruals of one hour for every 30 worked, up to 48 hours per year unless otherwise law provides. The expected salary range is $95,000-160,000, depending on factors such as location, certifications, education, and experience.
