Civil Engineer (PUBLIC NOTICE FLYER)

This Public Notice Flyer announces several Civil Engineer positions within the Department of Commerce (DOC), Office of Economic Development Administration (EDA). These positions are under the Thomas R. Carper Water Resources Development Act of 2024 (Public Law 118-272) to support the implementation of the FY2025 Disaster Supplemental Program and other EDA initiatives. Duties The Civil Engineers will have a broad range of engineering and project management responsibilities. The selected candidates will be integral to a multidisciplinary team, advising the Area Director on technical project feasibility and merits, overseeing the construction of multi-million-dollar projects, and managing strategies that meet customer needs and execute key change initiatives. As a Civil Engineer, you will: Assess project technical feasibility and merits. Manage the construction of complex projects. Develop and implement strategies to meet customer needs. Lead change initiatives related to project execution.
