The Senior Finance Manager - Hardware & Margins role within Microsoft Devices Operations (MDO) offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to enriching work, life, and play through iconic Microsoft products. The Hardware & Margins Finance team collaborates with MDO to enhance cost efficiency and cash optimization through financial modeling, guidance, and strategic business decisions. We seek a leader with strong analytical, partnership, and leadership skills to join our hybrid team based at the Redmond campus, working in person three days a week. Responsibilities Partner with supply chain functions including sourcing, inventory planning, logistics, and distribution to provide financial insights and drive performance. Lead the financial planning process, including Long Range Planning (LRP), aligning Gross Margin targets with corporate and business goals. Advise management on financial impacts of strategic options, focusing on GM performance and recommending optimal courses of action. Collaborate with cross-functional teams in accounting, operations, and engineering to align objectives and initiatives. Conduct detailed cost analyses to identify opportunities for cost reduction, process improvement, and risk mitigation. Develop and monitor KPIs such as operational efficiency ratios, inventory levels, and ROI. Manage financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and analysis processes within respective areas.
