Position Summary
Mionetto is the #1 Prosecco brand globally and a cornerstone of our premium sparkling wine portfolio. We’re seeking a consumer-obsessed, strategic, and entrepreneurial Brand Director to lead the U.S. business. Our largest and most influential market.
This is more than a brand management role. It’s an opportunity to shape the way people experience, share, and celebrate with Prosecco. You’ll lead everything from brand strategy and national campaigns to breakthrough experiential programs and cultural partnerships that keep Mionetto at the center of modern lifestyle moments.
Key Responsibilities:
Brand Strategy & Equity Leadership
Own and evolve the U.S. brand strategy with a sharp focus on the consumer, cultural relevance, and growth.
Define clear objectives across brand awareness, engagement, trial, and loyalty.
Manage brand equity, architecture, and long-term positioning.
Identify whitespace opportunities based on consumer insights, category dynamics, and competitive landscape.
Business Ownership & Commercial Performance
Own brand P&L and annual marketing budget with rigor and ROI focus.
Translate strategy into commercial programs that work across retail, on-premise, and e-commerce.
Marketing Execution, Experiential & Partnerships
Lead the development and execution of integrated marketing campaigns across paid, owned, earned, and experiential channels.
Build and activate immersive brand experiences and sampling programs in key cities and consumer occasions.
Identify, negotiate, and execute brand partnerships.
Champion the innovation pipeline, ensuring concepts are grounded in consumer insight and cultural opportunity.
Consumer Insight & Performance Measurement
Lead insight work, including segmentation, qualitative and quantitative research, social listening, and trend tracking.
Monitor brand performance through equity tracking, campaign KPIs, and in-market results.
Develop dashboards and learning agendas to fuel continuous improvement.
Digital, Social & Influencer Strategy
Oversee brand storytelling across digital and social platforms, ensuring consistent, engaging content.
Drive always-on digital marketing, influencer collaborations, and content creation with cultural edge.
Ensure digital activations ladder up to brand objectives and connect authentically with target consumers.
Team Leadership & Collaboration
Lead internal cross-functional teams and external agency partners with clarity and accountability.
Collaborate closely with global brand teams to align strategy, innovation, and creative.
Mentor junior marketers and contribute to the broader marketing leadership team.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or related field; MBA preferred
7–10+ years of brand marketing experience in wine/spirits, premium CPG, or lifestyle industries.
Proven ability to lead and scale experiential marketing and brand partnerships.
Deep experience in brand strategy, planning, innovation, and campaign development.
Strong commercial mindset, with experience managing P&L and cross-functional collaboration.
Demonstrated passion for understanding the consumer and using insights to drive action.
Excellent communication, leadership, and project management skills.
High level of energy, curiosity, and creativity, must be a self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced environment.
Passion for wine, food, culture, and Italian lifestyle a strong plus.
