As we continue to grow, we’re seeking a highly motivated and experienced VP, Marketing & Creative Agency Services to lead solution delivery, provide strategic guidance, enhance client relationships, and represent Bond as a forward-looking thought leader in the marketplace.
Preference to candidates located in either the Greater Toronto Area (Ontario, Canada) or Austin, Texas (US) or surrounding areas.
About the Role :
As the VP, Marketing & Creative Agency Services , you will be a senior leader responsible for the strategic direction, growth, and delivery of Bond’s marketing and creative capabilities, including branding, CRM, content, and social media. Your primary objective will be to drive exceptional client outcomes through intelligence-led engagement solutions while building a high-performing, commercially focused team.
You will oversee revenue growth, client satisfaction, and solution innovation across BondX’s portfolio. This includes developing long-term relationships with clients, leading multi-disciplinary teams, and promoting cross-functional collaboration. You will also represent Bond as a forward-looking thought leader in the market, helping to elevate our brand, showcase our expertise, and shape the future of digital and creative engagement.
This role plays a critical part in shaping Bond’s next chapter. You will report to the EVP, Client Solutions, and work closely with peers across the organization to ensure our creative services are fully integrated into Bond’s broader offering and aligned with our clients’ evolving needs.
Leadership & Strategy :
Serve as the senior lead for Bond’s creative services, branding, CRM, and social media capabilities.
Inspire and lead a high-performing team to develop and deliver innovative client solutions focused on intelligence-led engagement strategies and tactics.
Drive the commercial success of our Marketing & Creative Services practice by overseeing revenue growth, client retention, and margin performance across the portfolio.
Develop and implement strategies that align with Bond’s business objectives, enhancing client satisfaction and retention through creative offerings.
Strengthen cross-functional relationships and foster team understanding of Bond’s integrated solutions.
Build capacity and inspire excellence across disciplines.
Manage the team to achieve financial, client, operational and people results aligned with Bond balanced scorecard objectives.
Integrate the team fully into Bond’s practices and procedures.
Industry Influence and Thought Leadership :
Act as a visible and influential representative of Bond in the market, building thought leadership and amplifying our brand through keynotes, panels, industry content, and executive forums.
Promote and elevate Bond’s intelligence driven digital marketing and creative capabilities externally to shape industry conversations.
Champion future-focused thinking by staying ahead of market shifts and bringing new perspectives to clients and internal teams, including focused attention on shaping brand communities across multiple channels.
Client Relationship Management :
Build and nurture long-term relationships with key clients and prospects acting as a trusted advisor.
Serve as executive sponsor for priority accounts, building relationships with senior decision-makers to Bond's presence.
Gather, analyze and utilize client feedback to enhance service offerings and client satisfaction.
Lead strategic planning across accounts to deepen relationships, broaden engagements, and identify unmet client needs.
Solution Development :
Oversee analysis of client needs and market trends to inform solution development.
Guide the creation of customized, scalable solutions that drive business outcomes.
Introduce new thinking, competitive insights, and intellectual capital to help clients achieve transformational growth.
Work with other Bond leader to integrate service offerings for scope expansion and differentiation.
Lead capability enhancements in AI, modern CRM, personalization, loyalty and engagement messaging.
Business Growth :
Directly accountable for revenue and margin growth within the Marketing & Creative Services practice.
Establish growth and account plans in collaboration with client service leads to drive business development.
Identify new business opportunities and expand existing client engagements.
Collaborate with Business Development and Corporate Marketing teams on client acquisition strategies.
Career Planning & Performance Management :
Lead managers in utilizing the Bond Career Framework to define career paths for team members.
Set clear performance goals and ensure accountability through regular evaluations.
Foster a culture of continuous improvement, encouraging innovation and professional development within the team.
Model a high-performance culture with clearly defined KPIs, aligned incentives, and shared accountability for client, financial, and team results.
Your Background :
10+ years in senior client leadership roles within marketing or creative agencies.
Proven success in leading integrated marketing functions, emphasizing CRM, creative strategy, branding, and social media.
Demonstrated ability to grow client relationships and revenue through innovation, insight, and execution excellence.
Strong business acumen and experience managing a P&L or business unit with measurable impact.
Skilled in building and leading high-performing, diverse teams; adept at mentoring and succession planning.
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or related field; MBA or equivalent an asset.
