Citi Community Capital ("CCC") is the community lending and investing arm of Citi, housed in in the Global Spread Products (“GSP”) vertical within Markets. CCC is looking to add a Vice President in our Securitization, Lending and Investing (SLI) Group, focused on CCC’s Securitization Platform. Job Responsibilities: Support CCC’s affordable housing securitization team in the structuring and execution of securitization transactions including underlying loan due diligence, rating agency coordination, data tape analysis and diligence and coordination with 3rd party underwriters
Collaborate with the securitization team to review/select loans for securitization and create execution plan to meet annual budget expectations
Manage the securitization’s collateral platform, including but not limited to:
Providing direction internally and externally to prepare loans for securitization
Engage third parties and credit/provide project delivery schedules
Consistently modifying and proposing efficiencies to meet the needs of the platform’s initiatives
Working with internal partners to develop or refine processes
Draft materials and coordinate Investment Committee Approvals from Business, Risk, Asset Management, Transaction Management, Pricing and others
Draft materials and coordinate internal approvals with control functions in Citi, including Risk, Treasury, Accounting Policy, Financial Control, Tax, Legal, Compliance, and others for new product initiatives
Review loan level collateral and work with internal and external parties to verify accuracy, clean loan terms and modify loan documentation
Analyze loan level key performance indicators in preparation for, or in response to, prospective investor questions, rating agency collateral review, and underwriter inquiries
Seamlessly coordinate the delivery of external parties’ analysis, projects and review to meet transaction milestones
Create educational presentations of the securitization platform and process, as required
Prioritize, build and maintain relationships with clients, internal teams and external partners
Respond timely to internal and external questions and requests related to active transactions
Effectively prioritize projects and deliverables based on the needs of each active transaction
Qualifications: BA/BS with emphasis in real estate, business or economics preferred
7+ years experience in banking, consulting, finance or accounting preferred
Excellent oral and written communication, organizational and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to multi-task under tight deadlines
Excellent MS Excel and quantitative analysis and spreadsheet skills are required
Ability to create high-quality PowerPoint presentations
The candidate will be required to pass all necessary FINRA exams and licensing requirements
