This resource will work within the NIH / National Heart, Lung, and Blood Institute (NHLBI) Project Management Office (PMO).

Responsibilities
Support agenda development and capture, and distribute informal and formal meeting minutes, including action items and decisions. Meetings often include complex scientific concepts and terminology.
Record and track action items through completion.
Identify, track, and record risks, as well as mitigation measures, and ensure proper escalation to key stakeholders and decision makers.
Facilitate and coordinate program meetings.
Assist with the development and management of program charters, plans, and timelines.
Assist with creating program materials and content for briefings.
Develop dissemination strategies and action plans for key work products related to the program or project.
Manage shared document repositories to facilitate program management and knowledge sharing.
Support government financial tracking and reporting.
Assist in integrating cross-functional work across NHLBI and NIH Work Groups.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in an applicable field (e.g., science, public health, business, or project management).
Minimum of 3 years of demonstrable experience in portfolio, program, and project management support. If the degree is not in a science-related field, at least 3 years of relevant experience must be in a biomedical, pharmaceutical, biotech, academic medical center, or health-related organization.
Operational program/project management experience for a federal agency is strongly preferred.
Experience with OTA (Other Transaction Authority) is preferred.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Strong understanding of project management principles and techniques.
Excellent organizational, communication, and attention to detail skills to coordinate projects across diverse stakeholders.
Experience documenting and maintaining project management processes, tools, and templates to enhance organizational project management approaches.
