Salary range for Quality Lead between $75,000 and $100,000 USD annually, based on experience

At our Greenpac Facility in Niagara Falls, NY, you can develop your full potential, sustainably, by applying your expertise within the packaging team as the Quality Lead.

Responsible for the quality pillar (voice of the customer, quality assurance, & quality control) at the plant management team level.

Implementation and completion of quality daily management activities (quality rounds, audits, etc.) in collaboration with the group-level quality team.

Ownership of the site complaint management system.

Develop relationships with customers and act as the site’s point of contact for customer inquiries regarding product quality and trials.

Utilize SAP effectively to trace trial product, reclassify non-conforming material, and more.

Support activities to improve quality practices at offsite warehouses that store our final product.

Facilitation of root cause analyses for customer complaints and quality incidents.

Management of site lab equipment, including regular calibrations, corrective repairs, and replacements.

Serve as the site lead for various certification activities (FSC, SFI, RPTA, etc.), including monitoring, auditing, training, and sampling.

Lead customer interactions in collaboration with internal stakeholders for executing customer qualifications, product qualifications, and evaluating plant improvement opportunities from the complaint management system.

Establish and analyze site quality objectives regarding product issues, defective materials, and customer and supplier complaints.

Participate in implementing quality improvement projects with operations and logistics teams.

Responsible for training staff on quality principles, procedures, and fostering a quality culture.

Collaborate with the Cascades Packaging Quality Network Pillar to enhance group synergy and global success.

Up to 3 days travel per month for customer visits and quality group gatherings.

You too, put forward your strengths

Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related field, or certification in quality management, or a combination thereof.

3+ years of experience with quality standards, auditing processes, and industry regulations.

Ability to travel regularly (up to 3 days/month) to other facilities and customer sites in Canada and the USA.

Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles; certification (Black Belt or Green Belt) is a potential asset.
