Land and Materials Administration Lead Poisoning Prevention Program Compliance and Enforcement Division 1800 Washington Blvd. Baltimore, MD 21230 Main Purpose of Job
The Administrative Specialist I provides administrative support for the Compliance and Enforcement Division. The division mails over 500 notifications of violations, advisory letters, and penalties to property owners annually. This role involves reviewing, tracking, filing, and data entry for enforcement cases in LRCA, as well as handling daily calls, emails, and correspondence from property owners, managers, tenants, and other stakeholders. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Education: Graduation from an accredited high school or possession of a high school equivalency certificate. Experience: Six months of administrative, clerical, clerical technical, or secretarial work. Notes: 30 college credit hours from an accredited institution may substitute for the required experience. Military service as a non-commissioned officer involving staff work and independent judgment can substitute on a year-for-year basis. LIMITATIONS ON SELECTION
