dynamic and compassionate
Executive Director to lead operations, ensure regulatory compliance, drive sales, and inspire staff development. This is a unique opportunity—in a
state-of-the-art, purpose-built community —to integrate
lifestyle medicine principles
into person-centered dementia care, supporting residents and their families with
compassion, dignity, and purpose . Aroha Memory Care is centrally located within
Oakmont Village , a premier active adult (55+) community in Santa Rosa, California. Established in 1964 and built over several decades, Oakmont now encompasses
more than 3,200 homes on 1,000 scenic acres
in the heart of the

Leadership & Oversight ·Provide strategic leadership and manage daily operations across all departments. ·Champion Aroha’s mission, values, and wellness-based approach. ·Foster a culture of respect, inclusion, accountability, and person-centered dementia care. 2. Regulatory Compliance ·Ensure full compliance with California Department of Social Services (CDSS) regulations (Title 22, Div. 6, Ch. 8) and Health & Safety Code (HSC §1569). ·Maintain valid RCFE Administrator Certification and ensure staff meet all training and clearance standards. ·Oversee licensing inspections, respond to citations, and maintain an accurate Plan of Operation. 3. Resident Care & Services ·Ensure individualized dementia care that promotes dignity, engagement, and quality of life. ·Oversee assessments and timely care plan updates. ·Collaborate with families and healthcare providers to support residents’ evolving needs using evidence-based practices. 4. Staff Management & Training ·Hire, train, supervise, and mentor department heads and staff. ·Ensure staff complete required dementia care training (per §87705 and HSC §1569.625). ·Promote professional development and adherence to lifestyle medicine principles in caregiving. 5. Sales & Occupancy Management ·Lead all sales, marketing, and outreach efforts to meet or exceed occupancy targets. ·Conduct personalized tours and consultations with prospective residents and their families, communicating Aroha’s unique wellness and evidence-based model. ·Manage the sales pipeline, coordinate follow-ups, and maintain accurate CRM data. ·Represent Aroha in the broader community; build relationships with referral sources, healthcare providers, and the public. ·Organize and host events and educational sessions to engage families, professionals, and community partners. 6. Financial & Operational Management ·Develop and manage the annual operating budget, occupancy goals, and expense controls. ·Oversee vendor contracts, maintenance, and safety protocols. ·Ensure accurate billing, reporting, and adherence to internal policies and procedures. Qualifications: ·Valid California
RCFE Administrator Certification ·3–5+ years in senior living leadership (memory care preferred) ·Bachelor's (required); Master's (preferred) in gerontology, healthcare, or related field ·Strong regulatory knowledge, financial acumen, and sales capability ·Commitment to lifestyle medicine and evidence-based dementia care How to Apply: Send your
