Position Description
As a .NET Software Developer, you will be responsible for working within the framework of a team and performing the following activities: Design, develop, deploy and support .NET Core or .NET MVC applications (full-stack and/or Web API)
Make or assist in making architectural design decisions with scalability, organization, security, and performance optimization in mind
Work with multiple departments and collaborate with other developers to meet project needs
Write clean, scalable, and high-quality code using standard software design patterns and best practices
Conduct unit tests of new or modified projects
Support fellow developers and assist with code reviews, process improvements, and standardization
Position Requirements
This position requires the following skills and attributes: A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a similar technical field of study
3+ years of related software development experience
Proficiency with .NET Core, C#, ASP.NET MVC, SQL Server, Entity Framework (EF), and/or EF Core
Experience in database schema design
Strong understanding of object-oriented programming, design patterns, and software development life cycle (SDLC)
Ability to work independently and collaboratively on a medium-to-large-sized application from design to code
Experience with Git/Azure DevOps
Excellent debugging, problem-solving and analytical skills
Willingness to learn new technologies and processes
Excellent written/oral communication skills
Ability to manage time when supporting multiple tasks
Be self-motivated, positive, and a team player
Preferred
The following skills and attributes are preferred: Experience with Front-End web technologies including HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript/jQuery, React.js
Experience working with Front-End, UX/UI, Business Analyst, and Project Management teams
Experience with CI/CD pipelines
Ability to configure and manage Azure services (SQL, Storage Accounts, App Services, Functions)
Understanding of Agile methodologies
