Your mission is ours. And as that mission evolves, we'll be ready. Will you? What does this role look like? Lockheed Martin Space is seeking a Server Administrator. You would be a key member of a local information technology group supporting an unclassified network as a site server administrator. This position provides Microsoft Windows Server and Red Hat Linux server system administration services, including server installation, system configuration, security patching, and network integration, as well as the development and maintenance of standard operating instructions (SOI's) in support of network infrastructure and end user needs. Candidate may be required, on occasion, to support after hours or weekend support in order to perform recovery and restoration of servers, perform system diagnostics, and troubleshoot problems. Candidate will provide day-to-day support of local IT environment to include: user account management, server administration, server and user desktop software application installation, troubleshooting system issues, and deskside user support. Position is located in Silverdale, WA - work-site is on the Naval Base Kitsap - Bangor Submarine Base. Must be a U.S. citizen with ability to obtain interim secret clearance prior to start and ability to obtain and maintain secret clearance.
