Warehouse Manager (Pending Contract Award) - 17239 Description: This role involves managing warehouse activities on-site in support of the Logistics Integration Support (LIS) Program at Marine Corps Logistics Command (MCLC) in Albany, GA. It is crucial for ensuring the effective operation of logistics support activities for MCLC. Responsibilities include: Engaging with the Government customer and OEM ReMan Vendors to manage asset receipt, issuance, and shipping, and addressing issues related to the LIS Program. Implementing process improvements at the site. Establishing procedures for verifying shipments, handling materials, and maintaining current warehouse inventory. Ensuring smooth flow of materials and orders, including returns to OEMs for repair. Completing daily operational tasks as assigned by the Program or Operations Manager. Managing staffing, implementation plans, and training schedules. Coordinating with USG representatives and AAR Procurement to expedite materials. Performing other duties as assigned. Qualifications for success: High School Diploma or GED required; Bachelor’s degree or 7+ years related supervisory experience preferred. Minimum 7 years in Logistics or Supply Chain required. At least 4 years in a Team Lead or Supervisor role; 7+ years supervisory experience preferred. Experience in warehousing, inventory handling, and leading diverse teams required. Experience with Department of Defense projects or agencies preferred. Understanding of Supply Chain Management and MILSTRIP processes required. Familiarity with ISO, safety, and training standards preferred. Experience with DoD systems like FEDMALL and WEBVLIPS preferred. Ability to obtain a government CAC and Secret Security Clearance if needed. Strong administrative, management, and quality control skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite. Knowledge of military ground equipment, maintenance programs, and supply chain management. Critical thinking, strategic planning, and excellent communication skills with military and senior personnel. Ability to maintain service continuity during crises.
