A well-regarded legal practice specializing in government contracts and procurement law is seeking a skilled attorney with a strong background in federal litigation and transactional due diligence. This role is ideal for someone with deep experience in bid protests, CDA claims, and security clearance matters—especially within the context of M&A. With a growing book of business and high-stakes matters involving both litigation and advisory work, this firm offers hands-on experience, direct client contact, and the chance to grow into a leadership position.

Represent clients in bid protests, Contract Disputes Act (CDA) claims, and subcontractor disputes before the GAO, COFC, and Boards of Contract Appeals Advise contractors on compliance with the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and DFARS Guide clients through novation and security clearance issues in M&A transactions Conduct due diligence and risk analysis related to federal procurement and contract assignments Draft and negotiate subcontracts, teaming agreements, and other government-related instruments Provide strategic counsel on performance disputes and contract terminations

Requirements

JD and active bar license with at least 4 years of relevant legal experience Demonstrated expertise in government contract litigation and bid protests FAR/DFARS counseling and bid protest experience, SBA regulations, and clearance protocols Experience advising on federal M&A transactions and related diligence Ability to manage multiple matters and interface directly with clients Strong writing, advocacy, and analytical skills
