Join Our Team

We are seeking a Corporate Counsel to support our legal department, primarily focusing on strategic, corporate, and financial transactions. The role reports to the Associate General Counsel, Corporate, and is based at our 1WTC Office in a hybrid work model.

Your Responsibilities Include:

Advising on complex corporate transactions such as US and cross-border mergers, acquisitions, dispositions, joint ventures, investments, reorganizations, spin-offs, capital raises, and structured investments.

Reviewing and drafting transaction documents including purchase agreements, shareholders’ agreements, credit agreements, service agreements, licensing, and investment management agreements.

Assisting with securities, governance, and other strategic legal projects alongside senior legal team members.

Handling sensitive and confidential communications with discretion and diplomacy.

Collaborating on reports, presentations, and developing pro bono legal programs for SiriusPoint’s global legal team.

Candidate Skills and Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree and J.D. from an accredited law school.

1-2 years of law firm experience advising on transactions.

Experience working with senior leaders on complex legal matters and handling confidential information.

Ability to work independently, efficiently, and adapt quickly under tight deadlines.

Admission to practice law in New York or eligibility for in-house counsel registration.

Salary Range:

$170,000 - $180,000 annually, based on experience and other factors.
